
I’ve been making these for many years. There have been many variations but this is probably my favorite. It is especially good after a long bike ride or mowing the yard.
Banana Shake

2 frozen bananas
1 1/2 to 2 cups of plant milk
1 tbsp of cocoa powder
1-2 tbsp of agave or maple syrup
1/3 heaping cup of peanut butter powder (I prefer unsweetened but either works–one or two tablespoons of your favorite peanut butter is a good option too)
Optional: one large handful of fresh spinach or kale
Optional: 1/4 tsp salt
Put it all in a blender and blend until smooth. The spinach adds no flavor and is an easy way to get some greens. When my daughter was younger I would ALWAYS add this so she got some greens.
